I should update more often.

Really. I neglect this journal far too much. I hearby pledge to try and post more often, even if it's short and meaningless... and thus, we come to my subject matter.

I do not play Halo. Generally speaking, I do not play shooters. I maintained for a long time that I did not have the knack. Then we bought a 360, and the only game we had for it was Gears of War. So I tried it, and I realized it was pretty fun. I am by no means a master, but I didn't hate it. But Gears is the only shooter I've ever played. Now, I work at a game studio. Halo 3 is what the halls have been abuzz about for days. Weeks, maybe. Everyone keeps asking us if we have it, and we say no, we don't care about Halo. But I get curious. I like to know what it is I'm missing out on. So I headed over to Wikipedia and read a bit... and now I feel like I am missing out on a rad gaming experience. This irks me. I need Guitar Hero 3, quick. Something to occupy myself with. When do you think the new content for Overlord is gonna come out?

Desiderata

With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
