Yes We Can

At the risk of being overly sentimental - every now and then, something happens that reaffirms my belief in the goodness of humanity. Tonight was again confirmation that people can change, that bigotry and hatred can be cast aside, and we can and will strive for something better. I am so proud to have seen this day, and I am eager to see where we will go from here.
