And it's frightening, oh I didn't expect that from you...

I don't talk politics here often, but I actually pay close attention in real life. It's funny because a few years ago, I couldn't have cared less. I'm older now, petty dramas are behind me (at least on my side of things, can't speak for everyone else), and I guess now I'm looking at my present and my future along with that of my family and thinking about what we have to lose.

Did you know that Liberals hate the Bible? The RNC wants you to think so.

Who ever was typing this in the office must have just gotten lazy, because they c&p'd parts of it.

This is why you have to go out and vote. (NYT link, simple registration required.)

Can you guess which way I lean? I'd include an opposing viewpoint, like that of my co-worker, but I'm afraid of what might happen if I did. It's not hard to find discussions with a pro-Bush lean, so go look for yourself.

This is really funny, in light of "Rathergate". Personally, I am tired of the media's penchant for attaching -Gate to the end of whatever people or places are making headlines, in order to give it that added splash of sensationalism so the American people will latch on. "What did the anchorman just say, Slurpeegate? Quick, turn the volume up so I can form the opinion that he tells me to."

I can't stop. Eerie parallels.
