Friday Five (on Sunday)

1. What housekeeping chore(s) do you hate doing the most? Washing dishes in the sink and folding laundry. I don't mind doing the laundry, it's the folding that sucks. As for the dishes, well, you have your hands in that nasty water...

2. Are there any that you like or don't mind doing? Just about everything else. I've always been insanely neat, since I was a child. I feel very relaxed and satisfied when my living quarters are clean.

3. Do you have a routine throughout the week or just clean as it's needed? It's not so much a routine... I just clean often. I can't let anyone else do it, because I'm not satisfied that they've cleaned to my high standards. Clean means something different to me than it does to most everyone else, I think. If you're not down there on your hands and knees scrubbing, and if you don't move stuff so you can wipe up under it, you're not cleaning. You're just faking it.

4. Do you have any odd cleaning/housekeeping quirks or rules? The fringes/tassels on the rugs must be straight. If you mess them up with your foot, I have to go and fix them. The rugs have to be laid down just so, too. They can't be kicked around, or tilted at weird angles. Laundry -must- go in the dirty laundry basket, or I might fold a dirty shirt back up and you'll be wearing it all day with a big spaghetti stain on the front. And for god sakes, wipe off the bathroom mirrors when you spit all over them, or whatever it is you're doing! And while we're on the subject, I like the faucets clean... not covered in soapy water residue with globs of dried toothpaste stuck to it. If you're done eating, put your damn plate in the dishwaser, don't leave it in the sink for me to put there later... it's only another two steps over! I swear... Ahem. Next question.

5. What was the last thing you cleaned? Yesterday. I've been keeping the house tidy since then... we'll see how long it lasts. I have to work tonight, so i assume the place will be trashed when I get back.
